Goalie Equipment
CCHA has goalie equipment available for low cost rental. At the younger levels, the equipment use is free (required refundable deposit). You must be a registered CCHA goalie or skater-goalie to rent equipment. Contact Matt Mason, the goalie equipment manager at goalie.equipment@chaskahockey.org

Equipment for goalies at the Mite and Minimite levels will be provided for use through your team.

FREE CCHA GOALIE CLINICS

The CCHA offers free group goaltender instruction for all CCHA goalies and skater/goalies for squirt-bantam age groups. These clinics are strongly recommended to all dedicated goaltenders who wish to train for advanced techniques and better performance.

The clinics are 45 minutes each, and held most every other Saturday morning (with some exceptions) at CCC rink #2. Note the first two consecutive weekend of November we will host a clinic. Goalies and Skater/Goalies must wear their full goalie equipment (including neckguards) to participate. No pre-registration is required.

The clinics are divided into two groups; players may be moved into a different group based on proficiency:

GROUP I: Squirt & Girls U8, U10, U12*
*M3 Mites who have display goaltending proficiency are also welcomed to Group I clinics

GROUP II: Peewee & Bantam

Minnesota Hockey Dave Peterson Advanced Goalie Camp instructor and CCHA master goalie coach Jim VanDusartz personally instructs these clinics, assisted by former Canadian Major Junior goaltender and instructor Joe “Boomer” Buechler.
