RETURNING CCHA PLAYERS

For players at the Squirt or U10 level and above (i.e., upper levels), the FIRST ASSESSMENT should be postmarked or paid online no later than August 1, 2008 and all players must complete the required USA Hockey Consent to Treat and Waiver of Liability forms along with Volunteer Deposit Check and mail to CCHA Attn: Registrar, PO Box 1006 Chanhassen, MN  55317.  The forms are linked to the online registration materials OR under the Team Manager/Forms category of the website.  Player registration will not be complete until these forms and the volunteer deposit check are received (must be postmarked by the due date) and will be subject to a $50 late fee for registration.  For players at the Squirt or U10 level and above (i.e., upper levels), the SECOND ASSESSMENT will be due by 9/1/08, the THIRD ASSESSMENT will be due on 9/25/08 to be eligible for tryouts. PLAYERS ACCOUNT MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE TRYOUTS TO PLAY.  Upon team placement, remaining balances will be due by 11/1/08.   Please note that copies of birth certificates for returning players were retained from last year and are not required for returning players.

The CCHA cannot guarantee placement on a team for any upper level player registering after September 1, 2008, any Jr. Gold player registering after December 1, 2008 or any mite/U8/U6 player registering after November 1, 2008.

NEW PLAYERS

NEW players to the CCHA must be registered by September 1, 2008 for upper levels or by November 1, 2008 for Mites/U8/U6 to avoid late fee. A copy of a certified government issued birth certificate is required and will need to be mailed to the address listed above. (Certified birth certificates can be obtained from the Chaska Government Center for children born in Minnesota)

VOLUNTEER POLICY

This volunteer policy does not apply to Jr Gold players, thus the $175 volunteer deposit is not required for Jr Gold.  The CCHA is a non-profit organization operated by volunteers.  In order to keep our operation running and provide our kids with a fun and rewarding hockey experience the CCHA needs your help.  We greatly appreciate the work that everyone does to help make our children's hockey experience a positive and enjoyable one and to make the CCHA program successful!  With this in mind we will continue with our Volunteer Policy this year.  Volunteer buyouts will be $175 per player and a $500 maximum.  To ensure fairness to all families a volunteer deposit will be required.  This will be collected via check.  The check will NOT be cashed UNLESS the volunteer hours are not fulfilled.  Once the volunteer hours are completed, the check will be returned.  Please mail your Volunteer buyout check with Consent to Treat and Waiver of Liability forms.  No Player will tryout without volunteer buyout deposit.
